An Apple Newton? Full OS X Please

AppleI’ll make this post brief. First off, the whole PDA thing as we know it IMHO has been killed off with the iPhone. So initially, I’m inclined to paint this whole rumor of reviving the Apple Newton as totally bats. Steve Job’s chair doesn’t need another leg, and iPhone is about as good as a PDA could ever be.

iPhone Price Drop: The Aftermath

Blogger Corey at Didn’t You Hear? (which I read and do find funny) got in a bit of trouble for setting up a Google ad that mimicked the language of a Nokia ad but directed users to Apple. Some people thought it was coming from Apple itself. All a big strange mess.

Steve Jobs Makes Nice With Mad iPhone Early Adotpers

AppleAh well, this happened surprisingly fast. Steve Jobs writes a nice letter that states Apple’s reason for the price drop and offers $100 credit towards an Apple purchase to anybody who bought an iPhone before the annoucenment.

Apple Event: New iPod Nanos, iPods, iPod Touch

AppleAt today’s Special Apple Event, the ever-mesmerizing Mr. Jobs announced new iPod Nanos, iPods, an iPod Touch, and an iPhone price drop.

The leaked spy photographs of the iPod Nano proved accurate - this is the “fat Nano” that many people thought looked odd. I think the thinness and how Apple products look better in the flesh will hold true, but I’m honestly not too excited about the new Nano colors or capabilities.

But the iPod Touch is cool - it’s basically an iPhone without the phone. It has WiFi, which is more technology than I expected.
