This CW teenager “dramedy” is set in a private school in New York, where Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) has returned after a stint in boarding school to find her best friend Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) pissed at her. Blair’s boyfriend is secretly infatuated with Serena. There’s a creepy guy Chuck who tries to hump anything that moves, and the only normal students are a brother and sister who attend the same school but are considered uncool.
