Synopsis
After the Allied invasion of Normandy during World War II, a small battalion under the command of Captain John Miller (Tom Hanks) is sent on a strange mission to retrieve Private Ryan (Matt Damon), whose brothers were killed in action.

Marion (Julie Delpy) brings her New Yorker boyfriend Jack (Adam Goldberg) to Paris to meet her parents and rekindle their relationship. Cultural differences, Jack’s neuroses, and Marion’s various past lovers make this goal difficult.
I watched A Scanner Darkly a while back and thought it would be fun to check out Waking Life which was the first use of the stylized, rotoscope animation. I found it “interesting” but in a weak way, meaning it was fairly entertaining but I wouldn’t recommend it. Maybe a “meh +”.
