The Stepford Wives

The Stepford Wives is a real time waster, even as a rental, mostly from a lack of guts. The entire premise is out-dated, that of nerdy men wanting beautiful, subservient wives. The whole stereotype of “perfect wife” these guys come up with comes straight out of the 1950s. It makes the town of Stepford look more like a white, conservative Republican hell… I certainly wouldn’t want to live there.

Saw Friends With Money over the weekend, which is a character study starring Jennifer Anniston, Catherine Keener, and Frances McDormand. It centers around four couples, one extremely wealthy, two upper-middle-class, and Jennifer Anniston’s character “poor”.

Nearing 300 Bottle Caps

I’ve been collecting bottle caps for about half a year now, and am almost to the 300 mark. My collecting is being stored at Bottle Cap-O-Rama.com. The general idea of the web site came about more as an easy way to catalog the images and my comments.
