Since I’m on vacation, I figured I should log into Second Life again. I still only have 4 dollars, and need more in order to rectify my current state of a virtual, broke homeless person.
I recently revisited some Apple IIe games through the magic of emulation. Some are still pretty impressive (which I’ll document in a future post). But here are a few that I seriously can’t understand why I ever played:
I’m not much of a gamer (still getting mileage out of my PS2) but there’s just so much nutty PlayStation 3 and Wii crap out there today that I figure I should post some gratuitous links.
I logged into Second Life for the second time today, in order to solve my primary problem in this virtual world, which is I have no money. I do have another problem; I still don’t understand this virtual world or how it operates, but I’m hoping that my attempt to solve the first problem will in turn help solve the second.
I’ve been hearing about this Second Life simulated world for a while now. A co-worker found it funny, so I decided to take the plunge and try it out. At the very least, I’ll get a few amusing blog posts out of it.
So a while back on a whim I picked up a PlayStation 2 and I’ve since realized, I suck at these console games. I often feel like a crotchety old-timer, and play like one too, as my character stumbles on screen and gets blown away because I can’t make heads or tails of the confusing controls. Here are my aging, Gen X thoughts a video game I’ve tried:

Another toy I got recently was a PlayStation 2 (slim). Anyhow, I haven’t owned a console for years and as such I’m totally inept at games and have no idea what to buy. I did get some recommendations from people and have narrowed it down to a few. I’ll post some more extensive reviews of these games as I work my way through them.
"Yes, my favorite Bond (as you can probably infer from above) was also Sean Connery. I think Craig has a good shot at reinstating the manliness of Bond once again." - Jason Kaneshiro
Craig is great -- almost a force of nature -- but in my dreamworld where time and space don't exist I'd give anything to see 1964 Connery Bond facing Craig as an arch-nemesis. - Sprague D
I dunno. I heard that in this movie, when asked what his name was, he said, 'Bourne... Jason Bourne.' - Akiva Moskovitz
