On Google Music

So… please read this post from Google regarding wireless access points. If I am interpreting it correctly — without all the “hey we’re doing something new and cool that will make the world a better place” corporate cruft:
New York Times article on “Google X” — a top-secret (well, not anymore) incubator of sorts for big, future ideas. Top among them is the self-driving car. Which doesn’t sound particularly Googley until one realizes it may free up more time on the part of drivers to use smart phones during their commute = more web based ad revenue.
After losing $100 million on Google TV boxes that hardly anybody bought, Logitech will not be making more, and most likely not continuing the Google TV experiment going forward. And the goal of video delivered via the Internet remains elusive.
