I recently watched a documentary on the making of 2001: A Space Odyssey, regarding the challenges of trying to predict the technological future back in the 1960s. For some reason it inspired some random thoughts about where the Hollywood movie going experience will be in the more distant future - and how technology will make things both better but more likely - worse.

One thing that’s fun about living in California is In-N-Out Burger. Yes, in the land of organic wheat grass, Keller, Waters, and Naan -N- Curry it’s a bit simplistic, but as far as junk food goes I feel it’s the best bang for your buck.

Check out this two year old kid learning how to use an iPhone.
Either this kid is super advanced or the iPhone has a really, super easy to use user interface. I think it’s a little of both.

I was thinking about how one of the former Suck writers Owen Thomas is now working at Valleywag and how I enjoyed reading the Suck style of dense, bold humor back in the days following Web 1.0. I thought I’d share some of the sites I turn to for some laughs every once in a while.
