iPhone Crosswords App Will Be On The Apple Tablet

January 26th, 2010

AppleOh yeah. This is awesome news. I use the iPhone app Crosswords nearly every day during my commute, and was just thinking this morning; how sweet would it be to play that game on a larger screen – like on the Apple Tablet surely arriving tomorrow.

I Have A Really Hard Time Tossing Apple Product Boxes

January 25th, 2010

AppleHopefully I’m not alone in this regard.

During some pre-spring cleaning, decided to toss out some old Apple product boxes I’ve had lying around. iPhone 3G, iPod Nano, and a Mac Mini packaging. With the first one, it’s obvious this box has been in my possession for over two years. Mac Mini TV Wrangling Reminds Me How UI Matters More While Specs Matter Less

January 15th, 2010

AppleOver the past few weeks I’ve been wrestling with a Mac Mini hooked up to the television. While I’ve largely bent it to my will (and streamlined it so the spouse largely approves) – it still feels funny.

Why I’m Drawn To Apple Over Google: The Individual Vs. The Collective

January 12th, 2010

AppleTwo posts the other day solidified another thought rolling around in the back of my mind. The first was a WSJ article World Wide Mush (a promotion for a new book You Are Not A Gadget by Jaron Lanier), and Google Lacks Humanity by Joe Wilcox at Beta News.
