Bye Bye TechCrunch

October 3rd, 2011

Okay, so congrats to MG Siegler who will become a general parnter (VC guy) at Arrington’s new CrunchFund. Which means leaving TechCrunch = no personally interesting writers at TechCrunch left = it’s dead.

TechCrunch’s mention that he’ll continue writing as an outside columnist doesn’t strike me as too hopeful; I’d bet the more interesting stuff will reside at his more off-the-cuff home base blog ParisLemon. This post in particular, I’m still thinking about.

So ParisLemon replaces TechCrunch in my feedreader. And I don’t know what AOL is left with anymore. Guess something performing marginally better than Netflix stock.
