The Good

The Bad

Conclusion

The Diving Bell And The Butterfly is a testament to the tenacity of the human spirit — how will, thought, and desire can overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges. The film’s final sequence left me feeling that life is a fragile thing, which at any moment can change forever, and even a difficult life, some can find meaning and the will to persevere. The simplest images containing everyday things, can seem revelatory when seen through another person’s eyes. A new perspective and appreciation of another’s point of view is the essence of movies.
