Hell’s Kitchen Season 6 Predictions

Hell's Kitchen Season 6

A personal guilty pleasure is Hell’s Kitchen, an utterly ridiculous reality game show where foul-mouthed Brit Gordon Ramsay oversees seventeen craptastic chefs and selects a half-way decent one to work in one of his restaurants as a grand prize. The crew is whittled down one by one with challenges and intense dinner services.

Anyhow this season has been the most sensational and far removed from the culinary arts yet. I swear the first handful of chefs to go were plants (specifically, clueless Melinda, short but loud Louie, and ex-Marine Joseph), and there have been plenty of “firsts” that have nothing to do with fine dining — a contestant tries to beat up Ramsay, one contestant nearly having a heart attack, and Ramsay cracking and abandoning the kitchen in disgust.

At this point we’re down to five chef-wanna bes, Ariel, Dave, Kevin, Suzanne, and Tennille. Tennille can cook but has a real attitude problem; ornery and full of herself. She had a really bad run-in with Ramsay in the fridge. Suzanne is a “know it all” and not a team player. Nobody likes her; not someone to be running a restaurant.

Ariel and Kevin will likely make it to the final episodes: not much has been shown about either up to this point, leading me to believe both truly can cook. They haven’t had enough screw-ups to be featured in the show’s early episodes, which focused on stupid mistakes.

Dave is a special case. He’s had a fair number of screw-ups (the crepe that looked like vomit) but based on past seasons, Ramsay has a soft spot for hard workers who improve over time. Dave has had his arm in a cast and has essentially been cooking with one arm this whole time, yet amazingly, works harder and cooks better than other contestants with two good hands. Ramsay has pointed this out on several occasions.

So here are my predictions: I’ll be shocked if Suzanne or Tennille wins. Ariel and Kevin are safe bets to be in the final three. But I believe Ramsay is going to take a chance on the person who wants the prize the most and has the best work ethic. The rest can be taught. That would be Dave.

Dave and Kevin in the final two, Dave is going to win it simply because Dave has been going with one arm the entire time and has never put up a bad dish, but if Kevin wins i wont be dissapointed because either of them extremely deserve it

I would love to see Dave win. If he can cook and work like he has been with just one arm, I am sure he is an amazing chef with two!! Anyone with the drive and passion that he has to work through such pain — is a keeper. I think Ramsey thinks that as well.

Totally agree. Kevin seems like a perfect head chef, but almost too good.
Dave obviously has a killer work ethic which might be more valuable in the
long run. Personally rooting for Dave.
