iPhone App: 3D Vector Ball

Whack a ball back and forth in this 3 dimensional, futuristic ping pong simulation.
The Good
- The neon blue and purple on black background looks like TRON.
- Use the iPhone tilt to control your paddle. The motion of the paddles and ball behave as expected.
- You can play against another someone else with Vector Ball installed on their iPhone.
- Settings to calibrate controls or use the touch screen instead of the tilt controls.
The Bad
- Ultimately I didn’t find much game here. Hit the ball back and forth, you miss, you lose. Personally, needs more variety like power ups or different levels with obstacles, etc.
Conclusion
Despite not enough variety to hold my interest, 3D Vector Ball effectively recreates 3-D ping pong on the iPhone. If that’s what you’re looking for; here it is.
