Contest: Identify The Movies #7

July 12th, 2009

(First off, apologies are in order for missing last month’s contest (#6). Sorry.)

It’s July, which means it’s time for another Identify The Movie contest. Here are the rules:

  • Below are images from seven movies.
  • Identify all seven by title in the comments below. First person to get all seven right wins. Make sure to leave a valid email address so I can send you the prize.
  • For contest #7, the prize is a $70 Amazon Gift Certificate.

Hint: Images are taken from previous movie reviews published on this blog. If you are stumped, just peruse the movie review page.

Hint #2: All the movie titles this time around have something to do with the number “7″ or the month of July.

Each month, I’ll add an additional movie image and up the prize by $10. So by year’s end, there will be 12 images and a $120 grand prize. Therefore, the last few months of 2009 will be the most difficult but also the most lucrative.

So without further ado, here are the seven images for this month’s contest. Fire away in the comments below.

  • I can name all of them except #1 and #5. And I'd research it, but I'd rather someone else win the contest :) I have enough Amazon credit as it is.
  • That's pretty good, I do think #5 is the hardest one.
  • 1. 27 Dresses
    2. All the President's Men
    3. Becoming Jane
    4. Iron Man
    5. Me And You And Everyone We Know
    6. Star Trek: Generations
    7. Zodiac

#5 was very, very tough! Never heard of it, but your "July" hint saved the day on that one.
  • Dang. That was fast! Congrats!

Really glad someone got #5. Thought that one would send the contest in
    extra innings.

And here's what the movies had to do with 7 or july:

    1 27 dresses (2[7] dresses)
2 All The President's Men (released in 19[7]6)
3 Becoming Jane (released in 200[7])
4 Iron Man (seven letters in the title)
5 Me And You And Everyone We Know (Miranda [July
6 Star Trek 7: Generations (the seventh Star Trek movie)
    ])
7 Zodiac (directed by David Fincher who directed [Se7en])
  • Hi,

I wanted to write and tell you about a new website for fashion designers, artists, musicians, and filmmakers: www.PutItOn.com. I've been using the site as an artist and have my work there, and am trying to support. Basically, the site allows artists from all over the world to connect, display their portfolios, and sell their work (with no commission taken). The site gives artists a free gigabyte of space to showcase their portfolios, allows you to stream audio and video works, lets you create live personal broadcasts, and translates any writing into ten different languages. If you could take the time to visit the site, and if you like it too, let your readers know about it, and even sign up yourself or link to it on your site it would be greatly appreciated! We are trying to make a go of helping out artists everywhere and are trying to get the word out, so please help us out if you like the site after checking it out!

    Thank you!
  • Hey Jason, been having some intermittent flakiness with my email lately but I don't -think- I got the Amazon email notification..
  • That's odd, I sent it off last week. I'll have to double check in Amazon to
    see what's up.
