Contest: Identify The Movies #4

April 19, 2009

April is nearly over, which means it’s time for another Identify The Movie contest.

  1. Below are images from four movies.
  2. Identify all four by title in the comments below. First person to get all four right wins. Make sure to leave a valid email address so I can send you the prize.

Hint: The images are from movies previously reviewed on this blog. If you are stumped, just peruse the movie review page.

For contest #4, the prize is a $40 Amazon Gift Certificate.

This is a monthly contest. Each month, I’ll add an additional movie image and up the prize by $10. So by year’s end, there will be 12 images and a $120 grand prize. Therefore, the last few months of 2009 will be the most difficult but also the most lucrative.

So without further ado, here are the four images for this month’s contest. Fire away in the comments below.

  1. Mike says:

    Ooh, I know these!

    1. Coraline
    2. Trainspotting
    3. Baby Mama
    4. Lars and the Real Girl

The funny thing is, I haven't seen any of these (yet) – just been paying attention to the reviews. :)

  2. webomatica says:

Wow that was fast… ! Congrats, all four out four identified!

  3. Timmargh says:

I got three out of four — didn't know number three.

  4. Leon says:

I know all of them but I wasn't fast enough. Oh well

  5. webomatica says:

now that I think about it, #3 is less distinctive – you'd have to either
have seen the movie or recognize the two stars (Tina Fey, Amy Poehler) and
go from there. Vs. the last one where there's a “real girl” right there…

  6. webomatica says:

    Try again next month!

  7. rodaniel says:

Great one! I got stumped on Trainspotting.

I enjoyed “Lars and the Real Girl.” What made the movie was that Gosling never broke character. If he'd have smirked even once over the sex doll angle, it would've ruined it.
