iPhone App: BargainBin

BargainBin is an app that lists current iPhone app bargains in the iTunes Store.
The Good
- Pressing on an app’s icon takes you to the iTunes Store. Pressing and holding calls up some buttons to read the app’s description, look at the app screenshots, and email the app’s link.
- The price tag icons show the original price, so you know how good of a deal you’re getting.
- Definitely useful. I’ve already scored some app bargains.
The Bad
- Once launching the iTunes Store app, I haven’t figured out a way to return to BargainBin.
- Sometimes takes a prohibitive amount of time to load the appllists.
- The apps are organized by day. It would be nice to sort the list according to different criteria, say rating or price.
Conclusion
Despite a less than perfect interface, Bargain Bin is great if you want to save money on iPhone apps. And who doesn’t want to do that? Recommended.
