iPhone App: Dashbuster Free

Dashbuster Free is an iPhone App that allows management of your Netflix queue — seeing what’s in it, and reordering and deletion of movie titles.

The Good

• Works as advertised in terms of allowing you to view and manage your queue. Movie titles appear in list form with small cover art. Tap on a title to see its description and star rating.
• To edit the queue, tap the “Edit” button in the upper right corner. You get the ability to drag titles into new locations and a red minus icon that brings up a delete button.

The Bad

• Can’t add movies to your queue. That omission pretty much makes this app worthless. Supposedly there’s a paid version of Dashbuster that has the add feature, but said app as of this writing is absent from the iTunes Store.
• No instant queue management, no ability to rate movies.

Conclusion

The biggest problem with this app is the lack of the ability to add movies to your Netflix queue, something that the other free Netflix queue management app PhoneFlix provides. As a result, this app is a waste of time. Skip it.
