I think the recent Casino Royale did a great job of removing the
dorkiness of the Bond franchise. Looks like this new Star Trek is
trying to do the same for Trek. Yes, I'm also hoping to see Quantum of
Solace soon – didn't work out yesterday, hopefully sometime this week.

It's still up, so I assume the DMCA police haven't found you yet. I know it's campy, but I'm more interested in “Quantum of Solace”. Love Bond, and Daniel Craig brings the cool back that hasn't been there since Sean Connery.

Definitely – it has that “throw everything in there but the kitchen
sink” feel with the space battle.

The trailer is definitely more Star Wars-ish, but less Trek-ish.
