Webomatica Television Plans: Firefly, Arrested Development, Mad Men

August 23rd, 2008

Here’s a preview of what’s coming in the near future on Webomatica. Based on the highly unscientific poll, it looks like Arrested Development, Firefly, The Office, and Mad Men all have some interest. So I’m going to attempt something that may kill me in the process - try to cover three out of the four.

I’m reluctant to dive into The Office right away since that show has several seasons and I’m totally behind. I’m rather a completeist and would want to start from the beginning. So realistically, the only way to accomplish this is stagger my viewing / writing somewhat - so here’s a rough schedule.

Firefly posts will start up in September, every Tuesday until December (only 14 episodes).

Arrested Development will start up in January 2009. There many episodes and I want to give them all a fair shake. I suppose at the rate of one a week from then it will take me well into 2010.

Mad Men will start up in October. Haven’t picked a day yet.

Twin Peaks posts will continue every Thursday until the end of October.

The format will be synopsis and opinionated reviews as with the other television series.

And on top of it all - I still plan to cover the rest of Battlestar Galactica and ideally, the successor show Capirca.

Thanks for helping me decide what to watch.
