This movie was on HBO, I think the other night. I remember I wanted to see it when it first came out and the only reason I didn’t watch it is because the review for the film only gave it 1 star. You “bad” comments seem to be the general consenss about what’s wrong with the film,..and I’m a little curious on why you gave it 3 stars…or is it just ’cause you like Freeman and Nicholson so much?

I was prepared for this to be a real cliched mess but pleasantly surprised that it (mostly) rose far above that. It does lag at the beginning a bit, but overall, really enjoyable.
