Adobe Photoshop CS4 User Interface Changes
Adobe has been gradually releasing CS4 betas of Creative Suite and some screen shots and video of Photoshop CS4 are floating around. Looks like the user interface is getting an overhaul - here’s a screen shot and a video below.

Basically the main document window and all the palettes have a “locked in” feel that’s more Windows-like (groans from the die-hard Mac users). Instead of multiple windows they’re moving toward a “tabbed window” feel. The whole set-up is in one window, which unifies all the windows.
Personally, while I can see the benefit of having tabs to quickly switch documents, I’m not sure how this interface will work on multiple monitors - I sometimes like to have all the palettes on one and documents on another. I also really dislike the “ALL CAPS” titles on the palettes. Thankfully, this new user interface is optional.
