Apple Rumors

White iPhone Photographs: These look pretty darned convincing, and show a rounded case with a recessed, round port on the back.

Apple Shooting A Commercial At New York 5th Ave Apple Store: Apple Insider presumes it would be for the 3G iPhone. I wonder if it has something to do with really, really long lines.

Griffin Case Mold Reveals iPhone Shape: Griffin is a maker of silicone cases for Apple products, and some photographs over at iDealsChina are of some molds used to make them. What one can infer from these molds is the general shape of the iPhone 3G and the location of various ports and sensors.

Guessing Game Has Begun On The Next iPhone: Even the New York Times gets in on the game, speculating heavily. Rumored features: better camera, mobile digital video, and assurance that Steve Jobs has some surprises up his sleeve.

Solar Powered iPhone: An Apple patent has solar cells placed under the touch screen. This would be awesome to increase time between charging at an outlet, something very welcome for a mobile device.

Three Colors Of iPhone: Reportedly white, black, and dark red. Because of that last color, surely fake.

“iFund” Funds Pelago: The “iFund” was set up to provide VC to the most promising iPhone developers. Pelago came up with an app called Whrrl that combines maps with places you and your friends have been, so you can find new places to visit like good restaurants.

Possible iPhone Delay: I can’t believe it.

More to come, I’m sure.
