Battlestar Galactica Season 4 Prep

Battlestar Galactica: Season 4

This Friday is the first episode of Battlestar Galactica Season 4. It’s the last season “evar,” so it’s finally time to deliver the goods.

This is what I hope to see during this final season:

What I do not want to see:

Let’s recap: Who are the Cylons that resemble humans?

That’s seven human-esque Cylons. Next comes the “final five,” four of whom were revealed at the end of Season 3: Tigh, Anders, Tyrol (Chief), and Tory. That’s eleven Cylons with the last one to be revealed during Season 4. This Cylon’s identity is a big reason to watch Season 4. One clue that emerged a few months ago was this “Last Supper” type photograph in Entertainment Weekly. The prevailing thought is the last Cylon does not appear in the photograph. I find this a bit disappointing as all the major characters are shown.

I also have several Battlestar Galactica videos to share with you:

David Letterman Top Ten List:

Check out this promo, with several Battlestars unseen before (Titan, Hades) doing battle:

If nothing I wrote above makes any sense, you may want to watch this compact first three seasons in eight minutes clip over at SciFi.com.

You can also check out any of my Battlestar Galactica related posts over on the TV Show page, mainly episode reviews of seasons 1 and 3. Here they all are for easy clicking fun.

    wow. now that’s a long post. I haven’t even read it yet, but I was impressed by the “1396 words await you” so I had to start there.„,someone’s excited about Friday night ; )

    I invited myself to Greg’s house to watch, but it turns out he’s preparing for his sister’s wedding the next day, so he isn’t watching it. He obviously needs help straightening out his priorities. Well ‚he did say we could watch two next Friday instead…so don’t tell us anything!

  2. tigerlil says:

    ps I’m most excited about Earth and the surprises that await there (dinosaurs?) (people just beginning to make cylons?) (they arrive sometime BC and Baltar becomes Jesus?)

    O.k. Liza is right, I should just forget about my sister’s pre-wedding dinner on Friday and watch the episode. And oh yeah, why go to the wedding on Saturday at all… I think I’ll just watch a “Lord of the Rings Extended Edition” 12 — hour marathon instead. Sounds like a good weekend.…

    Seriously, yeah, don’t let me know anything. Liza directed me to look at your post (above) and I agree with nearly every point you mention. You’ll have to not say a word, though, next week at work! if Liza and I are to make it until next weekend before we watch it…!

    Time to push for my the-Galatica-spaceship-is-a-Cylon theory again ;-) I still think that twist would rock.

    Re: Adama and Roslin. Didn’t they already hook up? Or were they just doing a little light pettin’? I seem to remember them shacking up on some planet doing a little campout or something.

    Other things I’d like to see:
    * Some old-school cylons
    * Some other long-lost ships from the fleet (like when we met Pegasus)
    * Baltar achieve some normalcy in his life
    * Grace Park lookin hawt!
    * A reimagined Daggit
    * A Zarek, Roslin and Adama menage…

  6. webomatica says:

    heh, seems like it would be cool to toss some original BSG stuff in there. How about they get to earth and Earth’s leaders are the original cast members? Especially if that includes Jane Seymour.

  7. webomatica says:

    Okay sounds like a plan, you may want to avoid the blog or any headlines with the title: Battlestar Galactica for a while.

  8. webomatica says:

    I’d like it if there was a civilization on Earth if only to see the human’s reactions. I think one ending could be an apocalypse where everything is destroyed except for Baltar, Six, and maybe some kids and they become Adam and Eve type folks, but that might annoy all the Baltar haters…

  9. webomatica says:

    Haha… well your sister’s wedding is obviously much more important… although… how long has it been since there was a new episode of BSG? :)

  10. […] I’m displeased with the “hooking up” of Roslin and Adama. It’s yet another thing I didn’t want to see this season and it looks like it too shall come to […]

  11. […] I’m suspicious about those pills Adama took and his brief aside to Tigh that he doesn’t feel so good. Poisoning, perhaps? Lastly, we finally saw Adama in bed with Roslin. That sucked — I so did not want to see that. […]
