Webomatica DVD Give Away #5
Once again, I’m giving away DVDs through this blog. Listed below is a brief description of the title. First person to post the name of the movie described, wins a slightly used copy of that DVD… plus a bonus DVD of a mystery movie. So you basically get two DVDs for free.
Post your guesses as to the name of this movie in the comments below:
- It’s in black and white.
- Features Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci who in one scene, beat the crap out of each other.
- DeNiro did a number on his body, gaining 60 pounds to play his character in a night-club.
- Another classic scene features DeNiro pouring ice cold water down his own shorts.
Even if you already have this DVD, you may be interested in the subject matter appropriate bonus DVD, so guess away.
Make sure you leave a valid email address in your comment so I can contact you to get your mailing address.
Raging Bull! (But since I won that last contest, I’d certainly understand if I were excluded from doing so on this one.)
Yeah, that’s the correct answer. I don’t have any rules about multiple winners. Just trying to rid myself of these DVDs. So you are the winner, congrats!
man.….…. I came in a bit late again. I knew the answer to this one. watched this movie couple of times. good movie, i always love movies made out of real life.
I have a few more DVDs to be handed out soon so stay tuned!
Hey, by the way, Jason, thanks again for the DVDs! I’ve been out of town for a week, so I just now got around to sorting through the mail. The really cool thing is that I’ve seen a few pieces of “Raging Bull” but never the entire film and have been wanting to do so!
Ah, cool, glad you got ‘em. Yeah, Raging Bull is a classic — DeNiro at his best . The boxing scenes are real gritty and better than anything in Rocky. So many classic scenes, from the ice water down the shorts to Jake beating his fists against the jail cell wall. And thanks for commenting to win the contest!
