You dont know shit man, moonraker is very good entertainer, but silly and over the top, entertainer none the less with some of the coolest action scene.

Danial craig movie sucks big time. He and his movies are not bond movies. he is good actor but he is not bond.

We know bond as a charming, handsome, hourmours and with cool action in his movies for almost 50 years now , you can not change that now and make bond serious.

Roger more is best bond. With Moonraker, and spy who loved me best bond movies.

are you serious? this has got to be the worst list ever!!! for somone who obviosly takes james bond very serious how could you get it so worng? where do i even start, Casino royan at no. 1 your joking right? yes a good film, but first? any serious james bond fan will usually either name goldfinger or from russia with love as there no. 1 or at the very least another connery film. secound you put 2 of arguably the worst films ‘on her majesty’s secret service and die another day in the top five!! and to top it all off you put never say never again at 10!! its not even an offical film!!

BTW, and in my humble opinion, a true Bond fand shouldn’t include any non-EON release in a ranking. EON set the standards for Bond movies and the first “Casino Royale”/“Never Say never Again” don’t meet them.

I recently started the process of re-watching all Bond movies in strict chronological order. Maybe I'll change my mind when I'm done with it, but as far as I can recall, the one that I really couldn't stand was "Diamonds Are Forever". "Goldfinger" and "From Russia With Love" are the usual candidates for best Bond movies (and I agree), but I think that "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" is one of the greatest.

gotta say, i disagree with casino royale being #1. as said, there are no “get out of jail free’ gadgets, but i feel that because they are in pretty much all of the other james bond films, they make bond bond. daniel craig destroyed bond. his movies were good as action films, but he was not at all the suave agent he used to be.

How is Never Say Never Again better than Thunderball. Thunderball was incredible and Never Say Never Again was garbage. GARBAGE. I don’t even count it as a Bond film and the same goes for Casino Royale. My favourite is You Only Live Twice but that is because I like space.

I Liked DIE ANOTHER DAY. I thought it was very high-tech and kinda funny. The invisible car was a bit much though. DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER put at number 12??????? Now that movie was horrible!

That is a pretty good list, and humorous too. I haven’t seen all of them but I must say I didn’t like Casino Royale as much as Slammerworm did. I thought it was less exciting than previous Bond movies and lacked some of the staples that have traditionally been present in Bond movies, making a Bond movie a Bond movie and not just another disposable action flick.

i usually think the newer things aren't as good, but you're dead-on about casino royale ('06). daniel craig is the second-best bond ever (number one to my wife, i wonder why...) and eva green may be the best all-around bond girl. (looks, acting, character, everything about her was right.)

...and quantum of solace will be pretty high on this list eventually as well.

For me the best one is “For your eyes only” . I think it was compact and stuck to the story more than sticking up for high end action. To me that is important.

A story needs actors and proper situations handled in a simple way not in a robotic way.

The Casino Royale at the end of the list is an “unofficial” production — it’s a cheesy comedy from the sixties starring Peter Sellars. Please don’t rent it expecting anything like the way serious, recent Casion Royale movie!

A few notes — the biggest discrepancy between your list and mine is your high rank for Die Another Day and a low ranking for Thunderball. Second note: yes, The Prisoner did indeed have a midget butler. Lastly, I shall be adding the random flicks you scattered about your reviews to my Netflix, most notably Modesty Blaise. I’m up for some punishment
