"Paris Lemon’s Top Ten Films of 2007: I suck as I’ve only seen two of these. But the rest are being added to my Netflix queue post haste."

MC's #10 "Sunshine" is a great film. Our buddy Sang recommended it to me when I was in Hawaii as I had just seen Danny Boyle's "28 Days Later" (same director). Actually, I recommend 28 Days Later too. I really dig that Danny Boyle dude. (and MC is right, it does fall apart at the end). I really enjoyed Zodiac as well, dunno if you saw that.

Also - you gonna post a blog report or some pics of Wondercon? I haven't gone in years -- actually, you're the only reason I went originally :-P, but that show continues to amuse and intrigue.

That bit was news to me, as for purchases over 500 bucks we use a credit card (we pay off the balance every month). So I don't think I've ever debited anything that cost more than a few hundred clams.

This does raise a related issue however, as in how quickly can one get money out of a bank account should the need arise. I should do some research on that...

Best Buy will usually tell people to use credit cards instead of debit because of that issue.

You can (and should) call your bank to increase the limit temporarily when you're doing something like buying a car or buying an engagement ring (both things I've done with my debit card).
