The blog was down all day Tuesday due to server issues which was annoying. I wasn’t terribly freaked out because I’ve been doing regular backups. However, I am considering moving everything to a different hosting company. I put out a call via Twitter and got some recommendations which I’m looking into, further. Any other suggestions, I’m all ears.
But I’m still thinking about it - I can’t move immediately as I have to figure out how to get all my bottle cap stuff out of Joomla. The second wrinkle is I might get some credits from my current host to cover the downtime. Since I’ve already prepaid for a whole year, I suppose if my hosting ends up being much cheaper as a result of this, I may just stay due to inertia.
