There are so many rumors about MacWorld 2008 that some are overlapping with others...which makes it almost certain that Apple will release something like it. However, I guess we'll just all have to wait and see! ;)

Excellent, 128 gigabytes! I think that is still pretty up in the air - how much storage Apple will want, I would guess 64 GB, but 128 GB at half the power consumption could be very enticing if it's not too expensive (which it may be)...

Yeah, I don't see the point of a Mac Nano either - I have a MacMini and it's pretty darned small already.

But in related news, <a href="http://blogs.barrons.com/techtraderdaily/2008/01/06/ces-samsung-throws-tons-of-gigabytes-at-mobile-devices-hints-of-an-apple-sub-notebook/" rel="nofollow">Samsung just announced some new flash storage drives at CES</a>. Not sure about the price points, but this could stand some further research. They might be perfect for this ultraportable MacBook.

Not sure I would see the point of that 'Mac Nano' with a solid-state drive, I don't think size has even been an issue with the Mac Mini/Apple TV - but price has been, and a solid state drive would make that thing very expensive.
