Warning: Your Blog Could Be Hacked
Just a friendly public service announcement. David Airey’s blog, which I’m a regular reader of, was recently hacked. In this case, someone logged into his GMail account and managed to transfer his domain name. Read all the details at David’s new location.
While this sucks, David wants to learn from the experience and spread some words of caution. He believes that the hack was timed as he announced he was going on vacation via the blog. Second, it’s good advice to make all your passwords very lengthy and change them on a regular basis. Both are great advice, and if you’re looking for some new year’s resolutions, those might be ones to start with.

Very scary and that’s the best New Years Resolution I have head so far. Other than changing passwords, what else do you recommend?
Why thank you!
It was a set-back for sure, but it has been so great reading all the positive comments from people like you. Just goes to show the fantastic group of people there are in the blog world!
I hope you have an excellent festive period.
@David
Great attitude - it is the kind that fosters success.
Happy Holidays to you as well!
You’re welcome David - I hope spreading the word will help others avoid the unfortunate situation.
