Still waiting on this, however I don't doubt Google. They're the overlords of website traffic, so they could probably compete with any website of any niche even with an inferior product.

[...] Social Graph: Google to Release on Nov 5th In a private meeting, Google has told a few that it will release a social graph feature, much like how Six Apart is also going to. Google will leverage it’s popular (well in Brazil) SoNet Orkut, and offer APIs that can connect to it and iGoogle. This will be an interesting battle, many speculate Google will sweep up all the other networks for global domination. [...]

Could be onto something there, if only Goog would go over to OpenID.
Why should I need to have a different login for my Google and adsense accounts even?

Yeah - I forgot to mention Google Docs. I've been using that too, to draft blog posts at times.

That search history thing would totally creep me out. Despite using Google a ton - I keep that indexing searches thing off.

But what would be really crazy in my case - is the fact that they spider this very blog for Google Blog Search. Tons of juicy social networking profile material there.

Anyhow this will definitely get interesting!

On the topic of being blown away by Google apps, I'm amazed by the fact that I don't use MS Word anymore. The culprit? Google Docs.

Imagine if Google just used your search history to auto-create a profile for you (yikes!)
