It's pretty amusing, though the humor is a bit more direct and in-your-face than something like the UK Office (which I find more subtle and profound). Surprisingly reminds me a bit more of a U.S. sitcom than a British show in some ways with the prominent physical humor and blunt (but funny) jokes. Still, it's worth watching. Moss cracks me up. The hair and the voice are spot-on. Loved the way he deals with the fire in episode 2 (series 1). I read on Wikipedia that NBC picked up the rights to do a U.S. version. Supposedly it's slated to air midseason in 2008. As always, I'm a skeptic with the remakes, but as the U.S. version of The Office proved, it is possible to do it right. I was able to find some streaming options etc. by digging around. An American DVD of the first season should be coming out early next year and I'm planning on buying it.
