[...] Lucky for humanity, this was the last of the fictional Elvis-in-Hawaii movies. I enjoyed it more than Girls! Girls! Girls! as it was relatively more respectful of Hawaii, but it has different problems, most notably a complete absence of a single hit Elvis song. The best Elvis in Hawaii movie is by far, Blue Hawaii. [...]

Skiing and snowboarding are really nice idea, but for people and families who really have cold, have a nice vacation in Hawaii is a good idea because only in Tropical Islands like Hawaii, you can enjoy the warm summer in Winter!

Yeah you got it. Hearing Elvis Punahou School was a treat for me.

Bad Hawaii movies - can't think of any worse than Sidaris. Definitely an idea for a future series...

I assume the night blooming cereus viewing is along the Punahou wall that fronts Wilder Avenue?

This review, along with your Do or Die review, makes me think that a list of Best and Worst Hawaii movies should be in store at some point. I can't think of a ton of other Hawaii themed films (maybe you'd need to throw in TV too?). I guess between TV and film, you should have a good pool of content (once you hit Hawaii 5-0, Magnum P.I., you've got a little more to work with).

"North Shore" anyone? :-)
