Pat Morita had a recurring role on MASH as a funny Korean officer. And besides many guest appearances on various TV shows, he had his own short-lived series called "Ohara" pronounced Oh-hah-ra), in which he played an Asian detective. The inspiration for this may have been the 1989 film "Collision Course," with Pat as a Japanese detective teamed up with Jay Leno as a Detroit cop. That's right, Jay Leno. Other than that, I remember seeing him in "Honeymoon in Vegas" with Nicolas Cage and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Yeah, I watched “Do or Die” back in college (see your target audience assessment was spot-on). But honestly, aside from buxom babes, a hapless Pat Morita and radio controlled helicopters (I remembered those), I didn’t remember much else except that I found it funny.

But 2 Pat Morita love scenes? That part I DEFINITELY had selectively removed from the memory banks.

Alright Dave - did you see this film? ANyhow - someday I suppose it would be worth reviewing the whole Andy Sidaris filmography but I'm not going to do it anytime soon. I can only handle one of these flicks a year. As far as Pat Morita goes - my brother and I were trying to think of any other films he's been in other than the Karate Kids and Happy Days. Couldn't name a single one. His filmography is uh... kinda odd.

That was some funny stuff. I guess I’ll claim responsibility for signing you up for this dreck. But I didn’t know there was a bad guy named Kaneshiro…honest!

In a way, I’m glad for these reviews. We (fortunate) readers can get the highlights and skip the extra 90 minutes and moments we wished were not burned into our memory (Pat Morita in not one but TWO love scenes with buxom actresses? Oh the humanity!).

I walk away from this review wondering about the unfortunate careers of many acters/actresses (in this case Pat Morita and Erik Estrada) whose careers go from reputability to this…
