If you want a little bite to go with your coffee I suggest checking out Steven Hodson’s new podcast, Off The Cuff. He’s trying something new and the first one just hit the Internet today.

It’s a bit of a rant but if you read his blog WinExtra you know what the contents are. I find the grumpy geek tone entertaining. In this first podcast he does raise a point that I wonder about – technology is a real double edged sword and while the business world has latched onto Web 2.0 and blogging in the past year, meanwhile, technology is also being used to increasingly invade our lives. I’m talking about ISPs monitoring what we do, cameras everywhere, RFID, and data mining all building a Big Brother future – or perhaps that future is already here.

I think it’s worth hearing some bubble busting stuff every now and then if only to keep myself somewhat aware of the non-tech reality many people live in. Listening to Morgan Webb and then Steven might be a pretty entertaining way to end an evening.
