Is Fake Steve Jobs Dave Winer?

Things seem to be coming to a head in Fake Steve Land as an angry post revealed that perhaps Valleywag’s quest to out the dopple-guru was getting a bit intrusive.

Or was it this IP tracing scheme done by Sitening that traced Fake Steve Jobs to Boston? Dave Winer lives in California - but in this post he mentions he travels there.

Off the top of my head they both have a brief, concise writing style.

He has a black MacBook.

If it’s true, a post like this one is funnier, somehow.

    I wish I could say I were FSJ because I love Mac stuff and am a Monty Python fan, but I have a white macbook and have never been to boston and am not witty or clever enough. I think I could pull off a fake Casey Serin, though.
