iPhone Insanity: Two Days Until iDay
June 28th, 2007
Another slew of fun iPhone related links. The iPhone will be available Friday evening!
- The San Francisco Chronicle now has a phone answering machine set up for people to leave their thoughts on the iPhone. I wonder – are they thinking people will use their iPhones to call in?
- It may be possible to use iTunes to set your iPhone ringtone – even to the point of converting a song you have for that purpose.
- AT&T posted an iPhone FAQ.
- Possibly to help alleviate concerns about the iPhone keyboard in the first few reviews, Apple posted a keyboard demonstration video. Starring in the video is the same, relaxed, Steve Jobs doppelganger, whom I’d like to see in a future Mac vs. PC commercial, maybe saying: “Hi, I’m an iPhone.”
- FCHouse is hosting a pretty funny iPhone video done by David Pouge of the New York Times. It’s the first video I’ve seen with a hands-on demonstration of the device outside of Apple.
- Joel Stein at the Los Angeles Times tackles the embarrassing malady of iPhone lust.
I know, for a fact, that if I can just have an iPhone, I will be completely happy forever. I will be really careful and never drop it and charge it every night and use it only for very important things — like texting everyone I know messages such as “I have an iPhone!”
- The dude first in line for the iPhone in New York City is actually a semi-famous celebrity hunter named Greg Packer. And I thought my bottle cap collection was a little odd.
- Packaging for the iPhone is revealed at Apple Insider.
- Apple Stores reportedly are having sleepovers, with concerns of “enhanced activity” outside of Apple stores in the wee hours of the night. I wonder if that means Triumph the Insult Dog or Jay Leno trolling for jokes?
This is a very nice post, and I want to see how others react to this.
