I'm an Economist and a Wired subscriber. The Economist is well worth it because you get access to certain articles and updates only available online. You should check out the Progressive Magazine sometime, which is Old Fighting Bob LaFollette's former magazine (ask Tanja), they should have it in stock at Borders or Barnes & Noble in the current events section. If you like it I think I can get you a discounted gift subscription. Then again they have a well updated website which might defeat the purpose of getting it in print. I'd write/post more but I just got through my first exam and have to get get cracking on reviewing for the next one......Happy May Day.

Hi Tanya, well, I guess it's all relative. I suppose I'm thinking about how I grew up where my parents subscribed to The Smithsonian, National Geographic, Time, Newsweek, Sports Illustrated, etc. Not to say we read them cover to cover, though...

That actually seems like a lot of mags to me. I rarely read any but got back into it (2 subscriptions). Great blog too :0)

Heh, there's been a string of meme taps for sure. I guess I should start a new category called "meme" now that I think about it.

It may actually be a secret Cylon conspiracy to keep me from writing about the Gilmore Girls.
