General Webomatica Update

April 23rd, 2007

WebomaticaA couple brief Webomatica related news that I should pass on:

  • I keep reading articles like this one by Lorelle over at the Blog Herald about how more blog posts don’t necessarily mean more traffic, in fact, too many posts a day can cause some readers to feel overwhelmed. Actually, I’m just looking for a reason to slack off a bit more on this blog, and since traffic has doubled over January, even before the end of April, I think it’s safe to take a slight break. I’ll stick with my two posts a day goal, but plan on dropping down to one post on Saturday and Sunday apiece. By doing this, I’ll have less chance of burn out which means you get to read this blog for that much longer.
  • I’m messing about with the blog design a bit, essentially moving to a larger font size and eventually, page width. I’m hoping to improve the readability. If anything you see looks really wrong to you, please let me know.
  • I still am having some issues with a 500 Internal Server Error that I think has something to do with the hosting company. I need to work on that.
  • I realize I haven’t been posting many fun articles like How To Quit Smoking With Kirk and Spock which I promised a while back. I need to work on creativity, too.

Lastly, thanks a ton for reading, sometimes the primary place I’m inspired to write something is the thought of some commenter posting something in response.
