A disgruntled tenant, who was being evicted, left a message inviting people to the house and take what they wanted. The door was left unlocked and sure enough, the place was trashed. Even bathroom fixtures were taken. The prospect of someone posting a "looting message" and having an unruly mob show up on your doorstep is cause for concern, I'd say. Great analogy with getting the Digg commenters to visit though.
