Gilmore Girls: Season 8, But Shorter?

Sounds like a formal announcement is coming soon, but the latest rumor is that Gilmore Girls may go forward with an abridged eighth season. Read the details and find a link to the original source Ask Ausiello, at Gilmore Girls News.
I’ve already got my head around this season being the last, so although it’s interesting to read an eighth season is possible, I don’t know if I’ll watch. I felt alternately bored and damaged watching this season. Here’s a pretty good article by Molly Willow that captures my sentiments.
I’ll leave it up to these next few episodes that close out Season 7 to convince me otherwise, but for right now, I’m skeptical and wary.
And yeah, I still need to write some thoughts about the last two episodes, I’ll get around to that this week.

ok…here's my 2-cents worth…
I got hooked, haven't seen the full 7th season yet…but I can tell already it won't be good! These guys are tired of this story line…end it already I say!! There are so many loop holes in this to give everyone a “way out” of a commitment! At least when they do movies they give a satisfying END…it's clear the writers lost it on this show as there is so much upset! I am no sure I want to finish this series as I know a woman actually purchase the entire DVD sets and after she saw the ending she packed it all up and sold it for peanuts at a 2nd hand bookstore! Not a nice ending indeed!
Probably one of the hardest things anyone can do is try and learn something new. Congrats to anyone who tries.
They are making a new gilmore girls!!! I saw the commercial yester day!!!!!! Go on ABC family and i'll prove it!!!!!!!!!

I think a season 8 of gilmore girls is just a rumor.
I think there should be a season 8 because i dont like the way 7 ended. rory and logan should be togeather and i want to see luck and loriles wedding and there life togeather. they can do so much more with it.
i just was on Abc and the season 8 is coming in june im not sure of the date yet but it will be on tv again for another full season. we can all breath and be happy
SERIOUSLY SERIOUSLY!!!! Are the Gilmore Girl caming back for new season. SERIOUSLY that would be cool. I like the Gilmore Girl me and mom watck it together all the time. I would love if it came back for a new season. Would Logan and Luck get back together?
