Part of the reason why I started blogging like crazy on Webomatica back in the middle of last year was because the traffic to my bottle cap site was pretty decent, and this blog was looking like a ghost town. Well, that problem has been alleviated - but the places have been switched. My bottle cap site at Bottle Cap-O-Rama has had pretty stagnant traffic for quite some time.

I was looking at my list of goals for 2007 and realizing I’m doing pretty well at hitting them for this blog, but I’ve been slacking off on the bottle cap collecting thing. I intended to do a while bunch of stuff, like add comments, a forum, come up with a system for trades, and even launch a mint tin collecting site. None of that has happened.

So last night, I activated comments on Bottle Cap-O-Rama, and am going to tackle some of the other niggling things I’m behind on. I have another 200 or so bottle caps that I need to get scanned and added to that site. I also have one trader that I’ve totally left hanging because I went on vacation and got sick over the weekend.

Why am I telling you all this? I dunno, maybe it’s just a combination of a head cold, caffeine, and the blogging code of conduct calling for more honesty. Ugh.
