I don’t know if I ever went on HIX.

I seem to recall having a 2600 baud modem that I paid $250 bucks for or something like that.

I wish I could remember Sang’s handle. I also remember “The Nuge” and “J Won” being on Saimin.

Don’t forget HIX (Hawaii Internet Exchange, or some such thing).

I also remember borrowing Sang’s 900 baud modem for a while, this big blue behemoth of a box. Good ol’ preminiaturization days

Truly amusing. I spent some time on a bbs called "Saimin" back in the day. Looks like there's still some info floating around out there. (member directory [I'm not on there]). My pals Dave and Sang probably remember that place. I forget what their handles were... The internet freaks me out sometimes.
