Early Predictions For Season 4 Of Battlestar Galactica

March 29th, 2007

This guest post is by MG Siegler of Paris Lemon. It’s a blog I read regularly, as he’s a Battlestar Galactica and Apple fan. However, I must say, I didn’t read this post at all as I still haven’t seen the season finale! I’m sure it’s great, however.

[WARNING: SPOILER ALERT IF YOU ARE NOT CAUGHT UP ON BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, DO NOT READ ON]

While the season 3 finale of Battlestar Galactica was certainly one of those love-it or hate-it episodes, it’s time to start looking past it and onward to season 4.

Season 4 will consist of 22 episodes, the first 2 of while won’t actually be season 4 at all, but rather a 2-episode mini-movie about the backstory of the Battlestar Pegasus. I’m interested to see this story as it will show another angle after the initial Cylon attack and could reveal some interesting things about the Cylons that we don’t yet know. It’s also said that most of the main cast members will be appearing in these episodes in some facet. This is coming out sometime in the fall.

Then in January 2008, the official 4th season of BSG will kick off. Here are some predictions/thoughts:

We’re gonna need to wait about 9 months to start finding out…

Thanks Paris Lemon! I really need to see this episode, as soon as I get back from vacation. Check out his blog at parislemon.com.

Aggggghhhhh. I seriously tried my hardest to post this without reading it in much detail but I did peek a bit. I really am excited to see this episode as it seems the reveals of “whos a cylon” are pretty massive.

I forgot my iTunes password at home so I can’t download the episode even though I have the computer here…

Will be back on saturday so I have the weekend to catch up…

Maybe I’m lying in my post. Or maybe this post about lying is lying…

According to rumours from Razor, a Hybrid tells Lt. Kendra Shaw that if people follow Starbuck to Earth it will be the end of humanity. I can see a huge battle between Galactica and Earth’s defense systems and in the end, nothing will be left apart from Baltar & Imaginary Six. Which means Baltar will eventually die and it will be the end of humanity.
