Mac OS X Delayed Past April?
Huh, leave it to Paris Lemon to ruin my vacation (just kidding). Anyhow, there are rumors floating about that Mac OS X may be delayed past its rumored ship date of April possibly because of Vista compatibility. For more detailed info, check out this article at Ars Technica.
This isn’t that big of a deal to me, however, I do think that Apple has a great opportunity to one-up Microsoft and Vista the sooner it gets Leopard out the door.
But on the other hand, I’d rather have a more stable operating system than a shifty one. I’m already a big suspect of the stability of 10.4.9 as I’m experiencing some stability problems with programs crashing (namely, Firefox).
I’d rather Apple take its time with this next upgrade to get the bugs worked out.
Note: Ah, well, never mind, it seems Apple has answered these rumors by saying there is no change in the release schedule for Leopard: it’s still due out in spring.
