Much of the characters don't even look like the actual actors. In some of the Star Wars comics, Luke looks more like He-Man than Mark Hamill. It’s definitely the cheese factor that I’m into. My take is completely different, those are the kind of comics I can't stand. I read around 10-15 of the various Darkhorse Star Wars series and I couldn't stand how awful the writing was. There were a couple of almost decent series like Knights of the Old Republic and the Crimson Guard one... but most of them.. ugh. Heh.
