Strange Search Phrases

Technology Here we go, yet another entry in the mesmerizing category of strange search strings (because I don’t have any concrete posts ready to go right now). Anyhow, here are some of the more amusing search strings that people typed into Google, and landed here, of all places.

Note: I think these are getting funnier, as I fill up the blogosphere with more and more “long tail” meanderings.

eng - what are you writing about on that blog? Pretty funny. Anyhow, I must say, now that you've added these lovely phrases to this post I may possibly be "set up" for more entertaining search strings in the future.

Speaking of searches, have you ever done a regular Google search and had one of your own pages turn up as the first result?

That happens to me from time to time and it always kinda weirds me out.

Right now I have the first google result for: "worst james bond songs" :)

I can understand feeling a little weird but that means more people will find your site through searching, which is good.

Yeah, i do get the vast majority of my traffic from searches. It's just that the last thing I expect to see when doing an everyday search is something I've already written about.
