Link Sharing: 2/22/07

WebomaticaThis is my handy way to highlight some stuff that doesn’t deserve a full blog post, but I still found amusing or interesting. So every Thursday I plan on doing a more “list style” post featuring links to stuff I’ve collected during the week, hopefully at least five fun links.

Jeff Han on TED Talks: I hadn’t seen this before. It shows how interacting with computers could be done in a more hands-on manner.

Essential Keystrokes: Webomatica and some programs used to write and maintain it were featured in the “Essential Tools” series on Essential Keystrokes, a blog featuring web design and marketing tips. Char’s blog is a daily stop in my feed reader.

Squirrels Photographing: This came in via Paris Lemon. Cute because it makes little sense.

Casey Serin Satire: A couple of posts ago, I thought it would be fun to start a parody Casey Serin blog. Well, looks like there’s already some material out there. Funny stuff.

Cat Cold: Cat on a frozen pond, looking at the fish beneath (thanks Missy). I’ve seen a pond of this nature in Wisconsin. Pretty cool (no pun intended) especially to us in warmer climes.

Flickr photos of getting in shape while computing. This falls under the realm of “fatblogging”. I just have a few suggestions. 1) strap a brick to your mouse. 2) have a stationary bike power a generator which in turn powers the computer. You stop biking, it shuts down. 3) Stick a laptop in a backpack, get some eyeglasses that double as a monitor, hold a mouse in your hand, and go for a jog.

Linden Dollar Currency Collapse: Well, if it’s supposed to be a simulation of the real world…

Master New Media: List of places to find stock photography.

Some Webomatica blog related stats (that only I care about):

Technorati Rank: 26,839 :: 129 blogs linking in :: “B” list blogger
Blog Worth Evaluator: $72,825.66

Rude Comments Aimed In My General Direction: If you count the ones on digg, probably about 20. Here on this blog, about 10.
