Definitely agree with you about how different the news coverage is. While I won&#039;t pretend to understand a lot of what&#039;s in there (I&#039;m not an economist) I feel like when I read it, my mind was being stretched somewhat.

I&#039;m really clueless when it comes to British politics, so a lot of their coverage of Blair, parliament and how it works was pretty interesting to me.</description>

		<description>I used to subscribe too but found I couldn&#039;t keep up with the weekly issues :-)

The Economist really makes you realize how out of touch we are with the world in the U.S. Every week I&#039;d go through the capsule news section in the front and think to myself...holy hell, I didn&#039;t read about any of this stuff in the mainstream American press.

I also found (sadly) that I had a hard time following some of the stories from parts of  the world I don&#039;t normally read about. 

I think you can get cheaper subscription rates by posing as a student. I guess technically you work for an educational institution, so maybe you&#039;d be eligible.</description>
