Crowded House, The Police Reforming

January 24th, 2007

MusicSo it seems Crowded House might be the latest eighties band to get back together, despite the sad death of drummer Paul Hester. The group will consist of Neil Finn, Nick Seymour, Mark Hart, and an as-of-yet undetermined drummer. Sounds awesome to me. I wonder if Mitchell Froom will be involved?

And in other news, Sting and The Police may also be getting back together.

Great, now if Axl Rose can just release ‘Chinese Democracy’ this century, my life will be complete :-)

Re: Crowded House - Will Tim Finn jump in too? Wasn’t he pseudo-officially part of the band on one of the CH albums?

I wonder if Wham! will ever reunite. Wait…didn’t you write an article about this?

Heh… from some article I read, it sounds like Tim Finn isn’t involved. He was in Crowded House for the album Woodface.

I honestly don’t know what the heck is holding back Axl. How much more can he improve that album at this point…

Yeah I did write a post a while back, about bands I hope don’t get back together. I wonder if I need to update it… nah, I’ll wait until another band on that list does so before I do…

You may have seen this, but apparently the Second Coming is nigh (as this article puts it):

Van Halen and David Lee Roth will reunite!!! Oh and check out the “then” and “now” pictures for Roth and Eddie van Halen. Time and hard rocking have not been kind (are they ever?).

Uh… that video of Roth performing Jump bluegrass style … what the heck???

Eddie looks worse than Keith Richards. That is certainly not a complement! What happened to that guy?
