I was looking for information on reality television for work, and came across this crazy show: Who Wants To be A Superhero? We don’t have cable so I never saw it.

The basic premise sounds like that ridiculous combination of entertainment and stupidity that I sometimes sink into (I admit to watching some Beauty and the Geek and Boot Camp in recent years). Average people are asked to come up with super alter-egos and become them through various challenges. The caped crusaders some of the folks came up with had me chuckling: Cell Phone Girl. The Iron Enforcer. Fat Momma. Major Victory. Monkey Woman. No, I don’t think any will be joining the X-Men anytime soon.

To cap it off, the whole show is presided over by Stan Lee, Mr. superhero comics himself. I guess the show is already on DVD. One more to add to my NetFlix cue.
