Funny Search Strings at Webomatica
Traffic logs for a website show some fascinating things, one of which are the sometimes ridiculous search strings people used before they clicked on a link and ended up at a website.
Here are some of the funnier search strings that pointed to Webomatica:
worst digg story to hit front page
(yeah, I might be responsible for two of them)
bill gates wages a week
(I have no idea, but it’s more than any of us)
soylent green connery
(probably should be “soylent green heston” but maybe they found the answer after visiting my site)
psychology observational study cafeteria
(I have no clue how this relates to anything on my site)
apple macbook hippie
(do they mean Jobs or Woz?)
seagrams cooler escapes alchol content
(judging by the spelling, maybe this was typed in after the drinking)
create your own youtube with lighthttpd
(someone wants to get rich quick)
tuna bale diet weeks christian
(I hope this person didn’t actually think The Machinist was a good look, and was researching how to achieve it)
is selma hayek transgendered?
(somehow, I doubt it)
